Venom Network Launches First Testnet
The Venom Foundation, a decentralised network licensed by the Abu Dhabi Global Market (AGDM), has successfully launched its first testnet. The team revealed that 223,446 wallets created were created, and 69 million transactions were completed during the first week of the public testnet. In addition to this, 1,370,189 NFTs were also minted during this time period.
High Scalability & Reliability for Developers & Users
The Venom Network is designed with ecosystem users and developers in mind and is built as a highly scalable layer-1 blockchain network aimed at supporting a wide range of decentralized applications. Peter Knez, the Chair of the Venom Foundation Council commented on this development saying “With our highly scalable and reliable asynchronous blockchain, we’re confident that developers will be able to build innovative dApps while users will be able to experience them firsthand“.
Growing Ecosystem with Decentralized Applications
Alongside the launch of its public testnet, Venom has also released multiple decentralized applications (dApps) developed in-house as part of its growing blockchain ecosystem. This step is an important milestone ahead of their mainnet launch which is expected soon.
